Food and Drinks
Petit déjeuner / breakfast
From 8 till 9.30 hours we serve breakfast. When the weather is nice you will find your breakfast table on the terrace, otherwise in the dining room.
What does a Glycines breakfast look like?
Fresh bread, butter, honey, homemade jams, Dutch cheese - directly imported from a Dutch farmer, orange juice, (English breakfast) tea, coffee, yoghurt, cereals, dried and fresh fruits.
Price of breakfast is included in the room price. Of course, upon request, our guests who rent a gîte can have breakfast. Price p.p. € 7,50.
Table d'hôte in the Provence
We love good food and the wine that goes with it. If you love the same, you have found the right address. A couple of times a week we invite you to our table to taste a number of delicious dishes accompanied by exclusive wines.
When cooking we use fresh and local products, mostly from our garden.
To give you an idea of a typical evening ‘table d'hôte' at Les Glycines:
At approximately half past seven we start with an "apero", e.g. a vin de pêche, a guignolet, pastis... Of course you can drink a beer or a glass of wine.
During the apero there is an opportunity to give some explanation about the wines accompanying dinner.
Dinner may start with a tarte aux courgettes with some "Les Mées" olive oil, followed by a gigot d'agneau Sisteronnais accompanied by a honey-porto sauce. Side dishes might include: rosemary potatoes baked in the oven, ratatouille, mixed green salad. Dessert can be tarte aux framboises.
The Wines

Côteaux d'Aix: various producers
Côteaux de Pierrevert: Domaine de la Blaque
Price table d'hôtes: € 22,-- (excluding apero and wine)
Summer kitchen
On the evening we do not serve the table d'hôtes, all our guests renting a room or Gîte Jouère, are welcome to use the well-equipped summer kitchen (cuisine d'été) and barbecue on the terrace under the wisteria.
