Les Glycines is located on the outskirts of the village of Mison-les-Armands in the Alpes de Haute Provence. It is a former hotel-café-restaurant dating back to 1870, which the owners Sheila and Remko converted into holiday accommodation with “chambres d’hôtes” (Bed and Breakfast) and self-catering apartments (gîtes). The building has been thoroughly refurbished and modernised but the original style and character have been maintained. The house has a large garden facing south, which offers shade under the chestnut and cherry trees. Its main feature is a beautiful large terrace of 150m2 sheltered from the sun by a magnificent wisteria (glycines). In the garden you will also find the swimming pool with terrace and sunbeds. Private covered parking available for cars and motorbikes. For a perfect Provence holiday near Sisteron!
Chambres and Gîtes
We have 3 double rooms available, each with its own en-suite bathroom and toilet. Plus we offer 2 gîtes (self-catered apartments): Gîte Jouère sleeping 2 to 4 guests and Gîte Malaup sleeping 2. If you are more, you can also rent a gite plus one or more rooms. Possibility to rent the rooms and the gîtes as a group accommodation (sleeps a maximum of 14).
Table d’hôtes, Plat du Jour, breakfast
Breakfast is served to our guests renting a room, of course, upon request, also to our guests renting an apartment. A couple of times a week we offer a “table d’hôte” (evening meal), where you can taste regional dishes and wines. On the days that we do not prepare meals, our room guests can order our Plat du Jour or prepare a meal in the summer kitchen. For more information, please check our Food and Drinks section.
Les Glycines welcomes guests as from 18 years old.
