Is there a bakery, supermarket nearby?
Yes, you will find an excellent bakery at 2-minutes’ walking distance from Les Glycines. In the high season the shop is open from about six in the morning till about noon. In the low season the bakery is closed on Thursdays. If  you want to do some serious food shopping, we advise Super U, lots of choice and only 10 minutes driving from Les Glycines. Where to get cash?
Not in Mison but in Laragne, a 6-minute drive from Les Glycines, or Sisteron 12 minutes driving from our accommodation. Both towns have a couple of cash machines. The Super U also disposes of a cash machine.
Breakfast hours?
As from 08.00 till 09.30 AM we serve our guests breakfast.
How often can we eat dinner at Les Glycines?
About twice per week, when there are enough participants (4 till 6 guests) we cook our table d’hotes. The other nights our guests can order a simple evening meal, the so-called Plat du Jour. Please ask us the evening or morning before.
When is the swimming pool open?
Normally on the 1st of May. At night we cover up our swimming pool, in the morning we remove the cover. Unless it is too hot, then you can swim day and night!
Where do we find nice restaurants?
In the information corner in the hallway our guests can find a list with restaurants in the neighbourhood. It is a good idea to ask Sheila for a reservation.
What about the summer kitchen?
You will find the summerkitchen outside on the big terrace, the kitchen is only covered by the wysteria. The kitchen available for our room guests, when we do not serve the table d’hotes. It disposes of: a gascooker with a singing teakettle to make coffee and tea. Cold and warm water, kitchen towels, pots, crockery and cuttlery. Pepper and salt.
The summer kitchen is open and available as from April, depending on the weather.
